Be Proud

Sunday has come and a good week it was. Eating fresh roasted chicken on our lunch break Friday was the highlight for me, for it was nutritious and tasty meat from a bird we raised. (This is where I get my sense of pride...) I'd like to send my gratitude to all who took a chicken from us on our first run, and hopefully the meat will taste good enough to have y'all order another later this summer. Fence is almost all up and the week to come looks to be a busy one, with hopes of having almost all seed planted by weeks end. Inland Northwest weather is volatile and unpredictable, so we'll try not to rush on our tomatoes, peppers, squash, melons, etc... could be a hot summer!
