Hot House

So we have completed the next step towards successful gardening in the North West, and yes as you may have guessed its a hot house. We used a very simple design with extra lumber from last year and painters plastic drop cloth. All in all you are looking at a three dollar mini green house. One of our good friends was very considerate and let us borrow a small electric heater. It seams to be working great I put a temperature and humidity gauge inside the hot house and it got up to 89 degrees with 70 % humidity. The Toms and Peps were happy to get the heat and direct sun light. I think that the next step is to get a grow light set up. I have already noticed the starts stretching for the light and becoming spindly. So to ensure that this wont take its tole on the small plants I must get a light on them asap.
